Aircraft Power Engineering
Training Objectives:
This major belongs to a national first-class undergraduate professional construction unit. It follows the school motto of “Great Engineering Towards Perfection, Great Learning Towards Distinction”. The goal is to cultivate students who can contribute to national development, adapt to future advancements in science and technology, possess strong humanistic qualities, uphold professional ethics, and demonstrate a sense of social responsibility. Graduates of this program are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of aerospace power systems and thermodynamic machinery, including mastery of fundamental knowledge, theories, and skills. They should also exhibit a high level of innovation, teamwork, and practical engineering abilities. Upon graduation, they are poised to become highly qualified specialists engaged in various aspects of technology research and development, engineering applications, engineering management, maintenance, scientific research, or education and teaching in the aerospace power systems and related thermodynamic and energy fields.

·Main courses: Automatic Control Theory, Engineering Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Gas Dynamics, Solid Propellants, Fundamental Theory of Combustion, Principles of Rocket Engines, Design of Rocket Engines, Principles of Aeronautical Engines, Testing Technology of Propulsion System, etc.
